Be part of our two-year Amplify Scholar development program for early career engineers passionate about pursuing a future career with Energy Queensland.
The Program is open to undergraduate students in the final two years of their energy industry related engineering degree, who will receive exclusive invitations to specially curated events and activities to learn about us, our subsidiary companies (Energex, Ergon Energy Network and Yurika), and the energy industry.

Program benefits
As an Amplify Scholar, you’ll receive information from professionals at the heart of the industry, learn new skills and be part of a selected group of students on a pathway to working in the energy sector.
As an Amplify Scholar you will receive:

What discipline do I need to be studying to be eligible for the Amplify Scholar Program?
We are looking for undergraduate students completing an energy industry related engineering degree.
Do I need to be an Amplify Connector to be eligible to apply for an Amplify Scholar position?
Yes. You need to be an active Amplify Connector to be eligible to apply for the Amplify Scholar Program.
Do I need to be in Queensland to be part of the Program?
Yes. The Amplify Scholar Program is a pathway for Queensland students to explore career opportunities within the Queensland energy sector.
Do I need to maintain a full-time study load?
Yes, this is preferred however consideration is given to those students on a reduced study load on a case-by-case basis.
Do I need to maintain a particular GPA?
Yes, our Amplify Program requires participants to maintain a GPA 5 or above. Special consideration is applied on a case-by-case basis.
What happens when I finish my degree?
During the final year of your undergraduate studies, you are encouraged to apply for our Graduate Program.
I am an international student, can I apply for the Amplify Scholar Program?
No. Currently we’re unable to accommodate international students as our Amplify Program participants must meet residency requirements.
